Adams Morgan Day Festival
Adams Morgan Day Festival Screen Shot

The AdamsMorgan MainStreet Group, Inc. wanted an updated look for their 30th Annual Adams Morgan Day Festival held in September. The Adams Morgan section of the District of Columbia (DC) is full of multicultural delights and a diverse community. I decided to express this diversity through a warm color palette and the addition of urban-grungy graphics.

Mt. Pleasant Solar Cooperative
Mt. Pleasant Solar Cooperative Sample Screen Shot

The Mount Pleasant Solar Cooperative is a small community organization dedicated to reducing their dependency on traditional electric power. The organization was started by two neighborhood boys who were tired of hearing the "grown-ups" complain about their bills.

I thought this web site should reflect their determination and playfulness. The logo was originally created by the duo. I softened the colors and added green-sunshine tones with the graphical focus being the rooftops of Mt. Pleasant Washington, DC.

Latest Biz/Bio Conference Web Site
Massachusetts Biz/Bio Conference Website Screen Shot

The 2008 Massachusetts Biz/Bio Conference is part of a national program called the Business/Bioscience (Biz/Bio) Outreach Program. This program is dedicated to the promotion of the biopharmaceutical, research, biotechnology (collectively known as the biosciences) economy in every state.

The MA Biz/Bio web site is part of a new template design based on an existing branding of the printed materials. The focus of the redesign was to show the program's maturity and to merge the contents of a briefing CD-ROM that was handed out at each event. This was achieved through a custom Flash map and creating an online library of studies and statistics. As for each state's web site design, the primary challenge is integrating the colors of the respective state's flag with the various elements.
